Pleasanton Bilingual Montessori Preschool has been proud to offer the best quality of education since 2013 and is the first largest bilingual (English and Mandarin) Montessori School in the Tri-Valley area. We specialize in and are strongly committed to providing children with a comfortable, peaceful, safe and stimulating environment where they can begin to learn a second language naturally.
We are committed to the childhood years ages 15 months to 6 years old, including kindergarten with two school locations in Pleasanton. We Provide year-round academics, as well as summer programs to our children. Our small, individualized classes with low student-to-teacher ratios focus to discover their passion and develop their natural curiosity in learning.
Ms. Lena holds an early childhood education director permit and is MTEC Montessori certified. She has worked as a Montessori lead teacher, Montessori preschool coordinator, assistant director and director in the early childhood field for more than 17 years. The blend, between education and business administration, in the role of school director naturally fit her in 2013 and has been both challenging and rewarding ever since! Ms. Lena is passionate about Montessori’s philosophy of following children, success in their education, helping them work independently and respectfully, allowing for the joy of learning, fostering and enhancing each child’s natural wonder.
Ms. Huang worked as a Montessori lead teacher and has over 10 years of experience working with children. She obtained her early childhood credential in MTEC (Montessori Training Education Center) in California. Ms. Huang decided to pursue the administrative side of education and thrilled to continue working with children at the same time, she also inspires children to be bilingual.
Ms. Anushiya earned her masters degree in education and pursued her early childhood credential in MTEC (Montessori Training Education Center). She has over 15 years of experience working with children. Ms. Anushiya believes in high expectations, a rigorous curriculum, and challenging children to take responsibility for their education. As a program director, she provides children with high-quality education that meets the individual needs of each child. She works to create an inspiring and engaging learning environment in which children feel safe and secure and to provide what children need in order to become lifelong learners.
All PBMP teachers are well qualified with various backgrounds in both early childhood education and Montessori training. Our staff meets or exceeds the licensing requirements and background checks required by the state of California. All of our teachers have taken courses in early childhood development and/or are pursuing an AA or BS in child development or related fields. Staff is certified in CPR and First Aid training that is renewed every two years.
Most importantly, staff members are hired based on being the embodiment of a loving and caring individual, who can provide a nurturing and supportive environment for children, during the most important developmental years of a child’s life.
PBMP provides a physically beautiful environment and abundant spaces for the children to play and explore. The play structure combines the adventure and wonder of nature with the durability, safety and high-quality play equipment. Children will have endless opportunities to develop their body strength and coordination, socialize with friends and explore nature’s mysteries.
We have high-quality wooden floors in all the classrooms. The wood floor provides safety and ergonomic benefits that will help keep the classroom ultra-hygienic and clean. The wood floors of each classroom will be cleaned on daily basis.
Keeping in mind the tender age of our tiny tots, child safety & security is an upmost priority for us. Our services include well managed 24hrs CCTV access, and fully secured.
PBMP follows strict hygiene standards. Our school maintains high level of cleanliness and follows standard protocols to ensure the cleanliness of the place and objects.
All we want our children is to eat well and be happy, healthy, and active. We provide nutritious high quality breakfast, hot lunch and snacks to meet the needs of rapidly growing bodies and minds. This includes fresh vegetables and fruits, nonfat or low-fat dairy products milk, lean chicken and whole grain cereals and bread.
The Hot Lunch Program is offered optionally at extra cost. We cook a healthy and tasty lunch at school every weekday. The lunch menu will be provided every month in our school app. Snacks are usually crackers, biscuits, and fruits which are provided free of charge. Our school is completely a Nut-Free environment and strictly prohibits food that contains nuts, nut products, eggs and seafood.
If choosing to pack lunch at home, pack a well-balanced, nutritional meal, excluding candy and other highly sugared food, salt and preservatives.
