Mission & Vision
At Pleasanton Bilingual Montessori Preschool, our utmost dedication lies in equipping children with a robust educational groundwork that nurtures their independence, fosters critical thinking, and enables them to thrive with self-discipline.
We aspire to embody the principles of Maria Montessori and uphold her educational philosophy. Within our school, we cultivate an atmosphere where children experience emotional and physical security, where their worth is acknowledged and respected. Here, they have the opportunity to reach their fullest potential, develop independent thought, and make meaningful contributions to both society and the world in innovative ways.
Our Programs
We provide a comprehensive range of program levels tailored to children of varying ages, ensuring their educational journey from 15 months to 6 years old Pre-Kindergarten is well-supported and enriching.
Both my son and daughter go to day care here. Our son started at this school when he turned 2 years old. Our experience with the staff has been great. All the teachers are so loving and caring. We like the Montessori method of teaching. My son is interested in math, when he graduated from here he already learned additions and subtraction within 100. My daughter started here since she was 18 months and she is still here. She only cried one day at beginning. She loves this school. I highly recommend this school to any parents interested in Montessori.

One of the key goals of the Montessori program is to foster independent thinking and active engagement in children, setting it apart from many conventional school programs. Within the Montessori environment, children are surrounded by a wide array of beautiful and captivating materials that are tailored to their age and development. These materials are carefully designed to address the specific needs and interests of children across five main curriculum areas. Let’s explore each of these areas:
Early sensorial impressions increase the children’s powers of observation and deduction, broaden their vocabulary and contribute to understanding of formal educational concepts.
Develop independence, fine and gross motor skills, social skills, self-confidence and self-discipline.
Bring awareness that everything in the universe is connected and inter-dependent. Children use globes, puzzle maps and flags to build their understanding of other countries and cultures.
Materials are based on a carefully structured phonic approach to writing and reading.
The children learn to count, associate quantity and numerals, and gain a sensorial impression of the decimal systems.
